my elise has developed a vibration upon acceleration, in 2nd and 3rd. i located a loose washer and screw in the upper left hand side of the engine bay. they are holding in a panel. should i tighten these up fully?

or are they supposed to be loose and the noise is from elsewhere? it seems to be directly behind the passenger side.

Unlikely that it should be that loose, do it up finger tight and see if the rattle goes away.

couldnt do it up finger tight so screwed it in tight.... yes the noise is gone and the engine sounds oh so sweet.
