I test drobe an Elise about 2 years ago (I had a Caterham at the time) and like it a lot. The only problem was the legroom (I'm tall). A friend told me that there was more legroom in the S2 - can anyone confirm this and tell me roughly how much more ?

Cheers !

Hi

When I was test driving the Mk2 the Salesman told me that they could move the seat runners further back ( or forward ) to accomodate extra long or short legs.

hi, i have my elise mkII for 1 month and i'm happy with the space for my legs and feet. I'm 188 cm tall and my feet are size 11. My seat isn't completely backwards to have a comfortable drive. Only problem is the kind of shoes you are wearing....

How can there be more room if they both use the same underpinnings?

slightly different seat mountings and pedal box position could give you a few inches no probs.....(my missus says she will now investigate these claims )
