Damn the weather...

With this changable weather I've had the hood up and down like a tarts knickers these past few days. Unfortunatly the stitchings started to come off the plastic bit at the front and I've got a split developing in the middle.

Now I could just stitch it back up but I fear with my sewing skills it'll be bust again within a week. Plus I've snapped a bit of the plastic off, thick Jack Clot that I am.

Does anyone know where I could get it properly refurbished in the midlands? Or where I can get a new (or second hand) hood for an early S1?

Oh, and is it true they changed the design of the hood fastening at the front part way through the life of the S1?
