I got a free hardtop with my new S2 - due to a backlog I only got it about a month ago so it had to come off straight away for the nice weather.

It takes about 20 minutes to fit / remove - not too bad.

I think the car looks better with the hard top on - somehow it seems bigger and looks more expensive.

The couple of days it was on my car, it did rain quite heavily and it leaked through the window seal - perhaps more than the soft top as the passenger footwell seemed a bit soggy, but the water may have entered another way.

I'd definatly say it's more of a seasonal thing though - it's too annoying to take it off if you're in a rush!

These guys seem to have an innovative solution, taking over from Lotus when they decided not to pursue the gull-wing hard top concept. Looks good and gives a T-Bar option as well.

The T bar gullwing roof looks great but is it true it is only suitable for the S2

i belive the roof is only available for the older S2's, the older one's have the roof going over the roll bar cover.

it fits both style of S2 roof as it has built in roll hoop cover - you just remove the roll hoop cover on the later S2 with the short roof.

Not a 10 min job
