yeah & he gave the crap excuse of a small grass verge that would be similar to a gravel trap......what utter crap.

I live about a mile from "driving God" Harry and he must have been a tw@t. You don't fracture a tub like that in a gravel trap (see the split right up the headlight) let a lone a 6" grass verge.

I'll stick with my 340R thankyou - I've owned nothing better for the job & don't drive like the village gimp.

Breakdown of costs were:

Body - £4082
F Spoiler £901
Labour 77hrs
total cost £9375.34(pedant)

Damage doesn't look 2 bad in photo - Halfords DIY Fibryglass and duplicolour - reckon I'd repair it for 50 quid. Harry sounds a bit of a prat (and a poor driver)

the way my elise came apart when hitting a pheasant I can believe that hitting a 'sheer' verge wuold bend and break the fibreglass enough to cause the crack.

I feel sorry for anyone who owns a 340R. As far as resale is concerned this "flawed" design characteristic has justed fecked owners sideways. Why do they do it? Barstewards.

Given Autocar helped design it - is this some sort of "wry smile effect".....
