Can anyone give me a lead on where to get hold of a workshop manual for my Elise S1?

I have trawled the net a looked around local automotive shops but couldn't find one - any ideas?.

There have been some on e-bay occasionally, as well as on the Lotus bbs.

Trying not to cross post here but are you going to try to replace the rad yourself?

Guys I managed to download a copy from a URL some time ago however I can't remember the URL. If you want eddyk18 I can copy the pages for the Rad and mail it to you. I would give you the whole pdf however its fing massive. 39Mb.

Anyhow I have been a member for some time now under the user MrL, however as I am a complete Muppet, I have had to rebuild my PC. So as a result I've lost all my original profile info hence the new user ID.

You would think that working in the IT industry for over 6y I would have learned something about computers by now.

it's a pretty old topic, but since i'm visiting all posts, and since this one doesn't seem to have been answered... Is it what was looked after:

By Bonce

I'm sorry French Frie, but to link to it directly might cause Ted a legal problem so I've had to bin the URL.

For anyone looking for it, here's a clue: it's on the Brooke Kensington website!

IIRC there's a CD version for sale on e-bay at the moment.

Edited to add: It's still on e-bay now. The current price is £46 and the auction finishes in 22 hours. (approx 0700 UK on Saturday August 9th)

p.s. It's not my sale - I'm just trying to be helpful to FF!

Lenny, charging £10 for something that is not even yours to sell -- the contents of the manual belongs to Lotus, remember -- is at best immoral and at worst illegal.

To anyone who is desperate for a copy of the manual and is considering sending Lenny any money, think about getting it for Free by searching Google, KaZaA or the website belonging to a certain Lotus specialist mentioned above.

A fool and his money are easily parted.

If you're going to use the manual a lot, please consider buying an official one from your dealer, and help keep Lotus in business.
