OK

I've gone and been a bit of a muppet here. I did a full clean of the Elise yesterday inside and out. I thought ok let's refill the washer reservior (S2) so duly got out the allen key from the tool kit and started to take the front access pannel off. Halfway through my fingers have slipped and the allen key has done down under the radiator!

Fortunately one of my bike allen eys is the same size so I could get the rest of the screws out and fill up and put the hatch back on.

So the questions are;
1. where is that fg allen key? I can't see it anywhere.
2. Is it likely to cause any damage in there? (I have taken the option so far of simply waiting until it rattles itself clear and then picking it out again). The area appears sealed so I can't see it dropping into anything vital.
3. Any good ideas for getting it out from it's present location.

Oh yeah, and as for "don't worry it will have a full valet before you pick it up", full valet my ae. I managed to track down two of the noises I was hearing, firstly some cash under the front passenger carpet rattling against the sill and secondly a kind of tapping plasticky noise which turned out to be a CD behind the passenger seat which knocked occasionally. So overall I'm up £1 and CD on the deal. Only problem the CD is "the best christmas album ever, volume 2"

I don't think it can cause much damage, there is little weight in it. Also hardley any moving parts.

It is likely to fall out on the road at some point, for example. When I first got my car I noticed she needed oil, so I gave her a top up. About 3 miles down the road did it dawn to me that the oil filler cap was never returned to its original place. I never found that! even when the difusser was removed.
