this may be a silly question but ,what does the 111s stand for is it to do with the power of the engine?????also does the 111s pick up speed much more than the standard Elise after 60/70 mph,is it worth paying the extra cash for the 111s?????,would a KandN filter and a sports Exhaust give any more power or just give a better sound (what does the standerd cars sound like ????

I interpreted that as if they produced more 111's then future laws may stop that production. Cars that are on the road already should be fine (MOTs often have certain years/provisos on them eg a 1990 car is not supposed to meet 2001 regulations)

One point though if the car has had its cat removed it does need to be put back for the MOT as the car was registered with one. I imagine if you find a friendly service that does MOTs they will put on, check, and take off as part of the service.

Hope that helps
