This should be a quick thread! Full of abuse

Have owned an S2 for 12 months now and have to ask fellow owners.....is there a boot release on the S2 that I havent found yet???????

Took me 8 months to stumble acros the interior light!

if there is, I aint found it either! Am sure there isn't as know a fair few owners who have....

'opened boot with hands full of keys....put keys on boot floor whilst fiddling around with roof...dropped boot back into place...D'OH!'

If you lock the keys in it apparently there's just enough flex in the rear boot to allow it to open anyway ..though it does bugger the lock

Still low mileage then?

Do you mean boot or bonnet? You must've used the boot in 8 months surely?

I don't know about the S2 but on the S1 it's in the door frame by the catch on the drivers side, the bonnet release is to the right of the pedal box and towards the steering wheel a bit.

No remote release. It caused nothing but trouble on the S1, and made it trivial to get into the boot if you could open the drivers door (which doesn't have deadlocks).

So they ditched it.
