Whay hay - It's arrived

I picked up my Elise on Saturday It's a love affair. I just end up grinning from ear to ear every time I jump in the driver's seat
Fortunately some kind soul had already run it in for me over the past 8,800 miles, so once it was warm I could start to explore the performance a bit more.
Just getting used to the brakes now. God help me when I jump back in the Leon and drive it again, we'll be through the windscreen if I don't adjust.
We went for a blast to see my parents-in-law this weekend. Cue Mrs CVP jumping out saying to her Dad, "come out and see this". Cue response "what's he gone and bought then?" They couldn't see a thing as I was stuck behind a numpty trying to park an Espace. Took him out for a hoon later in the day, cue both of us grinning like 5 year olds. Good to see the old boy is as much of a Petrolhead as the rest of us
Chris
P.S. Ted, no need to worry, the PH sticker is on there !
P.S. A quick message to those of you with the Turbo Technics conversions - you complete nutters I've got no idea how you cope with it, must be like warp speed.

Nice one Chris.
I've only had mine for a few months but still just as excited when I take it out.
I know what you mean about the brakes, when ever I go out with the gf in her Z3 I practically do an emergency stop when I only want to slow down. When I first got the car I thought the brakes were crap but when you adjust to them they feel great and tell you so much more about what's going on than servo'd ones.
Enjoy the car.
