First time Elise 2 owner, some questions?

Hello, I will soon be purchasing a new Elise 2 (my first Lotus)! Can you guys give me any tips on buying and what to look for when picking it up. I have spoken to my local dealer and will have a test drive tomorrow and take it from there. Any comments would be appreciated, I'm interested in the tourer option.

Not on buying it, but I'd recommend taking it across to Europe when the good weather returns. Some great Elise appreciating roads over there. I've got an Elise I from '97, still love it
Oh, and be careful in the wet - not a car for accelerating even a little harshly out of a corner on a wet road. And wear thin treaded shoes all the time, you'll appreciate it more...
