Elise S2 Colours

I am back thinking about getting an Elise for the summer one problem though I really fancy a blue one, however I am not that keen on either of the blues that Lotus do. I wasn't sure, but can you order a new Elise in any colour you want? I really like the look of the red bull blue TVR uses. If so does anyone know what the cost is? Would this affect the resale value?

I'm sure I read somewhere that they did it. No clue on costs though so ask a dealer.

Don't expect it to negatively impact resale unless the colour doesn't work on the Elise (bit of a risk if you are the only one to do it).

Someone got the factory to paint his S2 Azure Blue, one of the best colours the S1 came in IMHO. I have no idea why they didn't continue Azure Blue to the S2, it would've been very popular.

Anyway, it can be done, but I don't know how much $$ you'll be looking at.

azure blue S2 that'll be me then!
For the record lotus dont do special order colours on the new elise. Mine came black and was stripped and resprayed Azure by the dealership.
The 'cobalt blue' car is the picture of my azure blue car, the 'blue' car is the standard cobalt blue. Trust me, ive become an expert on lotus blue's!!

Wehn I spoke to a lotus employee a while ago they said you could have any colour from the ICI range at a £1500 ish premium. Can't remember if that was S1 or S2 days though.
