Whats the difference between the sport 160 TB and the trophy. Are they a good value upgrade?

Are they easy to fit?

They are the same thing.

Very easy to fit, there is a guide on fergusd's excellent FAQ site at www.elise-faq.info/content/engine/index.php

piece of cake to fit, though occasional questions about lean running have been raised, especially when combined with improved induction & exhaust.

i've got an ITG & sports exhaust/no cat - but no 160TB - and that runs a bit lean right at the top end (spotted at a rolling road day).

I have a 160 Sport with the QED direct to head throttle bodies and the cold air airbox. Throttle response and low down torque is phenomenal. When combined with an Emerald ECU the car is so driveable it's a blast, and does sixty in about 4 and a bit seconds! Worth the extra!

I've s Sport 160 with the Trophy throttle body, K&N filter, Cat bypass and sports exhaust.

In your expierance would the Emerald ECU make a big differance?
