I am going to install 4 pt seat belts on the car and I guess the standard seats have to go. Will Recaro SPG fit in the car? What kind and brand of rails do I have to get?

thanks

It is usually advised to install seats with belt slots for 4/5/6-point harnesses.

Many people do use the regular seats, but you have to take care that the belts can't separate under load.

Probably not. Almost all 'off the shelf' seats are too wide for the Elise to fit.

Look here for some carbon seats:

The normal race seats are by Corbeau,
so go search for that manufacturer...
They are fixed position, so the driver seat only fits one person.

You don't want to keep the rails anyway, as the seat moves a bit on the track, and a bolted down seat would be more secure.

You don't need to replace the seats for 4 point harnesses, as long as you make sure that they are secure on the bar (don't spread apart under pressure) you should be fine.
