Questions wheels and tires
Discussion
Will the black OZ Superturismo wheels from the S2 190 fit onto a S2 111 without any problems?(ie rubbing issues, does it require a hub for proper fit etc.) I think the width of the OZ wheels is different from the ones that come standard on the 111.
What other tires besides the Yokohama A048-LTS Advan can I fit on the OZ Superturismo wheels?
thanks

Yes. You can now buy them separately from Lotus Motorsport.
Some rubbing may occur on the front, but this is simply because of tight tolerances.
Same happened on the S1 with some types of wheel and tyre combo's.

Which is the whole idea behind these wheels
The front ones are 6.5J instead of the standard 5.5J and allow the fitment of 195/50R16 front tyres.

Any that are available in 195/50R16 front and 225/45R17 rear.
Of course nobody will have tested these tyres on the Elise, so how it will behave/handle is a bit of a guess.(unless you fit tyres like the Yoko A039 as used on the Exige)
To use the Yoko A048's you really should also fit the S2 sport suspension as the regular setup will be overwhelmed by the large amount of (dry) grip offered by these tyres.
Bye, Arno.
