I'm a rookie here, so bear with me!

I've done a few days on track/airfield (John Palmer's and more recently with Don Palmer - a fantastic day out) but never in my new (to me) S1. So I'm looking forward to my first time out on track. I fancy an outing at Castle Coombe.

How do you rate Castle Coombe? Thanks for any comments.

Hi gfoz. Good to have you on board.

There are some track reviews here which may help:

Never driven it but spectated a few times, excellent view of the track from just about anywere. Not sure how much fun it would be in an Elise as you would be pretty nuch flat out for most of the track (at least thats how it would appear), only a couple of slower corners like quarry to excite you.

I have driven it a couple of times on trackdays.
Thre are a couple of turns that would be fairly flat in an elise & some tighter ones to test you.
definitely worth a shot I would rate it after donnington & goodwood as my 3 favourites...
