I was on google and found that the word "elise"comes in many ways...from lotus to girls to erotic to website's..a lot not car related.
But when you put in the word "exige" most of it is Lotus Cars related.

Maybe I try to look at a nice girl named Elise
is there anybody with a lotus and a girl named Elise(not the car)

A good friend of mine (actually reponsible for getting me into the whole Elise thing)

Owns an S1 and now has a lovely daughter...... called Elise!

Dont all groan though - both parents have always loved the name and thought of it way before he owned the car!

Could have been worse - his wife owns a Laguna!
