Boys and girls I need your advice.

Am looking at getting a set of OZ wheels for my S2135 Racetec, anybody know of a dealer doing a good deal on these at the mo.

Cheers

I am also looking for OZ/A048 and have dealer and specialist prices I cant afford so looking out for pre-loved stuff.

If you dont have Lotus sports suspension you apparently need to do that or Nitrons to cope.

Hi hbaumhardt,

I do have LSS fitted, so the OZ's are my next step forward in tweaking the car. Those OZ wheels are not cheap, hoping that someone knows of a good deal being offered.

Cheers

Come up 2nd hand every now and then but you'll have to be quick...... watch the parts for sale here and on SELOC. Seen them at about £800 wheels only...... but are very rare and bidding wars happen !

Brand new - hangar 111 have 0% interest purchases..... looking at £2k+ with A048 tyres

L5,
Saw the Hanger 111 offer, they are doing a deal of 4 wheels with tyres, centre badges and fitting bolts for £1,769, if they do that on 0% then I could be tempted. Was hoping that someone else had heard of a better price.

Cheers

Hey Jimbo S2 howabout we hook-up at the next track day; I'll bring the trolley jack, you do the bricks and we'll split our "findings" 50/50 ?

Apparently there may be a clean set in the Staffs area ready to go

Standard lotus part so you're unlikely to get a deal

Nothing on SELOC classifieds - saw some on ebay a couple of weeks ago but the black paint was coming off.... not sure what they went for

Try Sinclaires - they were doing a deal on OZ's, Lotus Sport suspension and A048's
around 2k I think.

Thanks for the info guys Sinclaires are going to give me a quote they are trying to sweet talk the factory into some discount and I will compare that to the Hanger 111 deal, either way its a lot of dosh but Christamas comes but once a year, and as I have stuffed the car and wacked a front and rear wheel it's got to be done.

On reflection Hans your sugestions sounds even betterwhat meet do you think, gotta catch these guys asleep, I'm after a black set what about you?

I could be into a "group buy" on this if Sincs are infact doing a £2k special.

If pre-loved I'll take any colour as I'd eventually get them refinished in the 111 smoke silver anyway.

Not had the quote from Sinclaires yet this is the best so far from Hanger 111, at £1,769.99.

Have a look at this link
(www.hangar111.com/shop/limited/products/listspecialwheelstyres.htm)

This is for four OZ wheels plus AO48's with long security bolts and wheel centre cap badges. Will let you know if I get a better price.

Bl**dy beggers from lotus and their markups - same size and style of OZ's for another car can (different offsets etc) be had for £469 incl vat. Tyres cost under 350 the set! Go figure the markup here! Too many middle men.

Makes you think - how about an approach to a wheel manufacturer to make a sets in specific sizes and offsets - would be interesting to see what it would cost.

Sinclaires have just left a message on my phone saying they have some attractive deals coming up on OZ wheel packages, no firm prices as yet (later today or Monday) but claim is they will be cheaper!!!

(Anybody intersted in a group buy?)

Will keep you informed once prices and delivery forecast is known.
