Headlights not coming on?

I have to go out tonight and need to leave in about 30 mins.. went to nip out quickly in my S1 and the headlights dont want to work!
main beam comes on fine, sidelights come on but when i put normal beam on it just turns the sidelights on?!
help, please....

a fuse proberbley...when your lucky.

i have checked the fuses and all seem ok? hmm

maybe then a bad contact...just try tho move all contacts a bit so the contact can be restored..? so from the lights(the back contacts) and the fuses/relais for normal beam.
somethimes the can get a bit coroded...?
