interested in a induction kit, not heard good things about the k&n, the itg seems alot more than a hurricane and wunt say its worth its price compared to others,
also i think one of the guys off here sells some on ebay?
not sure which to go for,
would you lot say hurricane?

Hi

the k&n is a waste of time (sucks warm air), the hurricane is the middle bet but if you can stretch go for the itg, lovelly carbon fibre. and sounds superb but a pig to fit apparently (dealer fitted mine). No good for track days though, too loud for some.

Hurricane works well. Almost identical are the ebay kits. Send Piooly an email - he does them and can tell you about those as an alternative. Don't expect massive bhp gains with any kit though. Mainly helps the sound with 1-3 bhp extra.

as Shangani says - no difference power wise between them (dont believe the manufacturers hype of 8-15bhp) - just get what does the job and looks good (if you are worried about that)...as long as you have a bot of pipe, a closed filter and a paper or cone filter they are all pretty much the same

Hi there.

I am currently out of stock but I should have some more kit available very soon. They retail at £100 each and can be described as almost identical to the hurricane kit. The only real difference is that my kit uses the full 100mm side air duct hole where as the hurricane has to use a reducing pipe to fit the filter at 70mm. The main benefit of any induction system is sound and throttle response. Power gains will vary car to car, but like others say don’t expect much from any kit. The sound alone will put a smile on your face. Check out SELOC. Quite a few people on there have the kit fitted and have reviewed the kit with excellent results. If your interested, let me know.

Said to make about as much difference as any power gains. Accept all four as a noise improvement and as long as you don't go for a CRP you can get away with most sports exhausts on track as well.

I got the hurricane kit (carbon version) and it's great.
Can't tell you if the ITG is worth the extra money (3x the prices) I didn't want to spend that much on an intake. Hurricane is good value for money

i had a k&n on my last elise, heard storys of the pullin the hot air in so not going for this one,
would be interested in the ebay one, anyone got any feedback compared to the hurricane,
think itg for what it does money is better spent elsewhere,
going for sound more than anything, as i know the power gains are crap,
i have a janspeed and crp so lookin for a induction kit,
