Installing HID kits

I will be getting the HID kit for my S2 shortly. Has anyone actually installed one of these kits themself? What are my chances of damaging the seemingly delicate bulb? If not a viable DIY, any recommendations for who to do it somewhere near Reading?

you'll be fine - theres only 2 wires, mount the ballast, replace bulb - sorted ...just use gloves when handling the bulb (as you should with a normal halogen) ....dont forget to get your beams aligned at a bodyshop/MOT place - it makes a world of difference....I have dip/mains/driving lamps all HID ...its like driving in daylight

sorry, not been keeping with the program , whats the story with the hid group buy, where, when, and how much ? More to the point, how quickly ?
