Anyone got anything planned for this weekend ?

Anyone want to plan something for this weekend. We need to introduce Minidiva to Zig-zag hill at the very least. Assuming weather allows, I aint going there again if its raining. I thought White water rafting was supposed to be on rivers

OK so the options are

1) Shangani's area, save him the drive for once
2) Leicester - Go see Domonic
3) St Ives - Go See CheekyMonkeys Mrs.
4) Stay Local - do the usual stuff get breakfast at the end of it.

Votes please

By the way Goob's there's a nice road from Honiton to the M5 (A373) which is not only a great cut through, but super, dooper fun. I think there's even a corner called "deadmans corner" or smth which is between 2 really fast straights...there's a cross roads on it and it's slightly adverse camber... well worth a looksie, basically take a left at the mini roundabout in honiton, drive into the high st. and take a right turn at a set of lights and floor it!!

I know the 373 great road but used by every tractor and 4x4. I have never had a good go at it.

Beachbum, these roads are not so weather dependent. Because we are on very unfamiliar roads we will no be using the kind of reckless abandon used on the burger runs.

I have done this run in snow and loved it!

Reading itself is hopeless - good night driving in Hampshire though. There are some really epic roundabouts. Mostly I head south anyway if I want a blat. Generally south of Basingstoke, either east or west of the M3 - loads of good b-roads there.

We would definately be up for something this weekend - weather allowing.

Looks okay according to BBC weather:
Poole www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1187
Croyde www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=1898

Croyde is fantastic - would definately consider a blast to the west country.

Otherwise, just let us know if zig-zag is happening - I'll dig out the camcoder mount. Waste of time trying to hang on to it the last time, got dizzy watching it.

Sunday reasoably early, meet up and go for a MEGA drive to end the season. Off to Croyde for a spot of brunch (Pasty) or even Saunton sands hotel for a fruit cocktail and excellent mussels!
Then hack back.

We will have to apply pressure to Just1 to take the car out as it risks getting wet and even worse, dirty! Come on just1, last big one of the season!

Or we could all go to Beaulei motor museum !

Alot of excessively geeky old dudes sell of the bits of thier restoration job that they didnt need or swap bits so they can restore another car. Generlly classics when Lotus was run by chapman and not taiwan! Talk about subtle changes in alternator brackets etc

Actually sounds like fun, it is what we do all week.

You want to come and DRIVE shangani! See the most beautiful parts of the country!

Yes but every time I come down to BOLOCS land, it makes me realise what a dump of a place I work in! Time for a career change me thinks - fisherman? Lifeguard? I am seriously thinking about a sunday blat though.
