S1 111 or 111s?

Hiya,
Ive been looking at getting an Elise for a while now and after driving a few standard S1's decided that I would prefer a bit more power so have been hunting down 111S versions. At the moment with my limited budget of 10K max I have found a 67,000 mile FSH 1999 T 111's for just under 10K but have also stumbled across a few late S1's i.e V/W 2000 low mileage standard Elise's.
Give the same choice what would you choose? I have to add the sub 10K 111S Elises are very rare unless they have something wrong with them but low mileage late standard Elises are not to hard to find.

Id get a 111S...otherwise you will be hankering after more power and spending like £2K+ to get it at a later date...a 111S with a few bolt ons makes 160bhp...+ lots of other extras are std on the 111S
dont forget to budget to replace some consumables on a car that old...or get a well sorted one from an enthusiast owner....you tried the classifieds on here and on www.seloc.org...some good cars there
