But a young Padawan, I am. Soon, driving like a Jedi master on acid I shall be!

Thanks for all the kind comments guys. Had a fantastic drive on Sunday, lovely weather, just the right temp. Got completely lost, and have no idea how i found my way home again, but frankly, who gives a sh1t. It's all about the journey, not the destination! (was slightly surprised when the back made a break for freedom when I booted it a little bit soon off a roundabout!)

I'm so pleased with my new baby I can't say. Was a bit unsure at first as it's so very different to anything I'd driven before, but after Sunday, I'm head over heels in love!

I'm having a dilemma though. It came with a hardtop (looks pant-splittingly awesome with it on), and really want to put it on cos it does look so good, but also want to enjoy the last of the sunshine before "the coldest winter in eleventy bzillion years" or whatever it is they say! Decisions, decisions!

Hope to see some of you out there some time!

Roof off....Always

Had my 111R now for a year, went through last winter, with the roof on, only when it rained. Use the heater, for your feet and gloves.
Other than that make sure you have a decent coat and the the winters a good 'en.

Very nice

You can see why Lotus don't have to advertise much when they make cars that look like that can't you?

Yep, like the Tao saying "The Journey Is The Reward"!

Take great care mate, if you're not used to a car with RWD and the rearward weight bias of an Elise be very gentle with the inputs on corners, roundabouts and adverse cambers at first. Book yourself onto a 1st Lotus training day and learn to explore its limits off the road. Don't become another "sh!t it must have been diesel on the road" statistic!!

Hardtops look great on the S2 but only required when the weather's REALLY inclement. Keep that soft top on while this weather lasts!
