Who are you guys with ? Looking for insurance for a 2002 111s but just found out - oh, this is good, that you can't transfer or use any no claims discount - what you amass over the years you can only use on one vehicle, not both.
Last time I looked you could only drive one car at a time and to my way of thinking it is the driver that has or doesn't had accidents rather than the car. Us? Ripped off? Surely not.....

good at moment are ASDA, NU Direct, and you could try elephant.com or confused.com. My broker doubled premium after accident, but have found ASDA to be as good as last year. Good luck

I was also well eggy when my insurance company informed me that you can only use one set of no claims on one car. in the end bell direct gave me full no claims on my other car because i was also insuring the elise with them at the time, still doesn't solve the issue but at least after one year you will have full NCB on your second car.
Bell direct are the sister company of both Admiral and Elephant - try all of them as year to year they do differ.
good luck and keep us posted

Try some of the specialists as they give 'equivilant no claims' on second car policies.

Best I found is THB Eggar Lawson at www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/

Isn't the web great - thanks, appreciate the time taken - I'll try to switch both cars to an insurer that gives a good deal on the elise - 1st Alternative sounds the best so far - and also 'generously and kindly' discounts my shopping trolley.
Wonder if my current insurer will come down in price if faced by the immediate loss of my huge business - I'll let y'all know.

Thanks again, I have a two week wait till I get back to UK, taxi from the airport to the garage, buy it, pick it up, drive home, park it on the drive and show it to my as yet uninformed better half. I might need life insurance as well now I think about it...
