S2 111S Silencer needed.

Hi all, got a little project on but need the valve/bracket mechanism off the standard silencer. Done one already and just welded the valve open on the orriginal silencer so still very useable (most people lock the valve open anyway).
I want to stick to a budget but if anyone has one still sitting in the loft etc and would prefer it to magically turn into beer/food/my brothers naughty mags then please let me know.

Paul - not sure how tight the budget is but there are two available in the classifieds for 50 quid with 6000 and 15000miles respectively. Hope this helps

Just for info the valve is normally open (only closes when engine running and hence vacuum to the actuator).

Not sure what you're up to but most folks just disconnect the vacuum hose to disable the valve.

Cheers Stuart, I do want to keep below that as it's not the silencer but the bracket/vacuum valve I need so would just get rid of the silencer again, just missed one on Ebay aswell,never mind!.

That probably answers your point also Ali but thanks for that.
