Got one of these from B&C, apparently it's standard fit on a 111R. Where does it go exactly, it says between the seats bit does that mean fitted to the plastic shelf thing or lower than that? I've also got the feeling I've got to take the bloody seats out to fit it?! :wobble:

Taking out the seats isn't too bad - it's 4 bolts per seat, and gives you an excuse to hoover underneath too

If you are triple jointed it is not hard.

If I remember you have to take out the seats and the rear plastic panel, then fix the net.

Sorry to ear you bought it.
One mine I put the front face of the radio plus one or MAX 2 cd. Probably a few tickets would also go in.
I do believe it is a disavantage for Lotus to sell this as an extra....
Personnally I would not dismantle my car to fix it
BuT I am probably biased by experience with my ex old esprit (Every fix another prob... My God that was a car...

My car had one in when I got it (I beleive it's standard - MY '04 car) and to be honest I never use it - simply because anything that's in it, you cannot gain access to while you're in the seat. The only time you can get to it is when you're outside the car...and even then, it's only when the roof's off!

If its the small net that sits against the Bulkhead inbetween the seats, then no its not standard, it forms part of the touring pack

It costs about £30 to buy and another £120 to fit.
I know, I initiall was told it would only cost the £30 and they would fit for nothing as it was just an easy fit. By the time they finished £150

And no its not worth it

I fitted one to my car, I used a small stubby screwdriver and some small self tapping screws to screw it to the plastic panel, it took less than 5 minutes to do.

I've got aircon, maybe this will be the best handling fridge ever made, that'll definately make the chavs jealous, especially if I display some cold meats and cheeses on the dash.

I thought it a bit of a fiddle to fit but basically spent 10 uncomfortable minutes twisting a drill bit back and forth till I had made the holes. As far as I remember I only managed to fit three out of four fixing screws but it holds the few bits and pieces I put in it fine.
