Lotus Elise S2 K-Series

Hi - I’m in need of some advice / help.

My 2001 S2 Elise is intermittently running very rough. The car will some times idle ok and at other times hunt between 2000 & 2500 rpm then eventually stall. Wasn’t able to diagnose the cause myself so sent it to a specialist who have found the Ecu to have an intermittent fault.
I don’t believe the parts are still available new. Has anyone else had this problem? If so how did they replace the ecu?
Refurbed part or after market ecu (e.g. Emerald).

Any advice welcome!

What ECU is it?

If a company like Ecu testing cant help with yours then its going to be a used part, maybe a breakers of this car may help but should not be too difficult to track one down.
Emerald do plug and play kits but obviously are quite expensive.

Perhaps try K-Maps for some advice and to see if they can source a replacement ECU? https://www.kmaps.co.uk
