Just bought myself this:

Long story short, it's in good condition with some nice upgrades, below, but it hasn't done many miles in the last few years and is in need of a refresh.

Champion S1 Plugs

Compomotive Wheels with Toyo R888 Tyres

Magnacor Lead Set

S1 VVC Coil Pack

Nitron Track Day Adjustable Suspension

Front Adjustable Anti Roll Bar

Cross Drilled & Grooved Discs

Race Pads

High Pressure Radiator

Lightened Flywheel

Scroth Seat Belts / Safety Harnesses

AP Racing Clutch

Braided Brake Lines

ITG Induction

Top of my list is a new cambelt and tyres. Starting with the cambelt, what sort of cost should I budget for based on using and Indy?

I purchase an s1 111s October last year and had a C service in May this year, which costs £430 at an independent, plus I a few other minor parts needed replacing.

I do like an S1. I just traded mine last week.

Whereabouts are you? I can recommend a really good specialist if you’re in Scotland.

If you are in the Northwest I would recommend Phoenix Motorsports (https://www.phoenixmotorsports.co.uk/), who serviced my car and are well know Lotus specialist. If more midlands then PJS Sports Cars (https://www.pjslotus.co.uk/), who did the pre-purchase inspection on my Elise s1.

Thanks to all for the replies above.

Cambelt is now done so I'm feeling a lot happier. The belt didn't have many miles on it but it had been on the car for over five years and whilst it may have been OK I just wasn't prepared to take that risk. Work was done by well respected independent and cost about £450.

Tyres were a similar issue, lots of tread on them but they were over eight years old so needed changing. Over analysed the tyre choice but finally settled on Nankang NS 2R's
