What does everybody do? I have a hard top and it's gonna be left outside. Need a car cover but what about other stuff to see out the winter?

Well said bogie - the only elise problem I have had is iced locks last winter. Easily sorted with a bit of de-icer spray - that is if the de-icer spray is not locked in the boot with the frozen lock! Keep the spray in the house.

Otherwise perfectly manageable right through winter. Enjoy!

Hahaha I pity you people :P I'm in New Zealand and we've just moved into spring.... looking forward to my first summer with the Elise after my first 4 months of ownership have had it in the garage non-stop avoiding the wet weather.

I have a Hurricane kit and 160TB on its way as we speak for my birthday and hope to spring for a quick shift kit, gear linkage and full Larini exhaust to be fitted with my C-Service in early December, I can't WAIT for summer

Oh and to answer your question, the best way to keep a car over winter is a garage... I couldn't be without it... the only times my Elise gets wet is when I wash it, the garage she lives in is air-conditioned and pollen-filtered.... only the best for my baby!

It's worth keeping a window squeegy thing and a towel in the car as well (might not be as necessary with the hard top on). But if you can, just use it all year round! Mine's an only car and gets driven every day whatever the weather

Yep - I'm using it all year and that does not bother me. I just thought more about protecting the car from the elements that's all.

And yes, S Works, I have been doing that! Raaaaaaaaaw!
