Just wondered if anyone knew this car?
Difficult to place a value on it really but I see it at around £19k, no offence to seller.
Just fancy the Duratec engine really over the K series.

I don't know the car but Jon has a good rep in the Lotus world so if he's selling it, it's more than likely a decent car. The one thing that would put me off though is the loss of the boot on what is otherwise a road going spec car but if you want it for a track toy then it's not such a big deal. If it's worth £19k to you then phone him up and offer him that, it's been for sale for a while now and I believe it's a SOR sale so the owner may be flexible on price.

Thanks, I'd overlooked the boot to be honest.
Suppose that exhaust has to go somewhere.
Not a deal breaker but good to know.

The exhaust is something that could be changed to an under subframe design as per the other Duratec car in the classifieds (https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/14638946) but this wont be a cheap change and the rear clam has been cut to remove the boot divider so this would also need replacing.

It’s nice that you get so much exhaust pipe included with it. Have a look on the engine conversion section of seloc?
