I know elise leak a bit but mine is positively drenched after a 1 hour journey in the rain.
Its coming through the point where the cant rails connect at the front.
Can some one give me some advice on making this thing leak a bit less. I had a look at some previous postings and they pointed to British Cars BBS but that article has been archived now so I can't read it!
The plan was to have a hardtop for winter but I've got to splash out on some new tyres so that'll have to wait!
help, help, help!

Hehe.. I can just imagine you asking a Lotus dealer what to do in such a situation. Their advice would be not to drive it in the rain!!
I have heard of people using bathroom sealant around the alloy tub. It does tend to leak through the front, although mine only used to do this when standing in the rain for a while.

The cant rails have a rubber seal around them which can become loose - if it is remove it and put bathroom sealwant onto the end - then refit the rubber seal and squidge them down tight
also try adjusting the windows so that they fit up close at the front - this is a bit tricky ...
other than that - buy a shower cape !

If it's an older style roof, flippers and a diving mask :-(
If it's a newer style roof, window adjustment may help.
For either it's worthwhile proofing the roof with a waterproofing agent, a canvas tent proofing agent is perfect, significantly cuts down on the amount of water on many cars . . .
