5th gear crunch

Just started doing it every now and then. When I select 5th gear - as I move the gear sitck to the right it makes a slight cruching noise as it goes in. Ther'es no struggle, just a mild crunch.

Could this be the linkage? Or perhaps the clutch starting to wear? It only happens in 5th.

Just don't want the box going on me when I could have had it looked at and sorted easily...

Mine has always done it in reverse, but very occasionally. It feels to me like the linkage is just a little out of adjustment and if the gears don't quite mesh then it'll graunch. There's very little movement between graunch and safely in gear, so I guess it could be adjusted ok on mine. Perhaps yours is the same?
