Most annoying rattle finally fixed

I’ve had a super annoying rattle on my S3 Elise since the day I brought it , drove me mad , but with the roof off and the stereo on you could drown it out , today after 4 years I finally found the bd , had to take the seats out and remove the firewall insulation, but there it is , a metal over that goes over the fuel pump , all the screws were tight, but I think they had a small shoulder of no thread on 2 , fitted some washers under the screws and now it’s perfect.
It only resonated at certain RPM and it was the exhaust not that set it off . What a bh
