S3 Exige Window Rattle
Discussion
I have an Exige Sport 350 and when the driver's side window is fully down, it rattles in a 'tinkly' kind of way.
Sticking a finger down with gentle pressure against the glass stops it (though is a little impractlcle when cornering). Passenger side is ok.
Both glasses feel firmly mounted when waggled with said finger. If I take the door card off will I be able to make an adjustment to stop it?

Yes, that's funny it does help a little when you do that at higher RPM
I'm still going to see if I can get it fixed as it tinkles away at low speeds. I don't want to perform any adjustment that will make it worse or interfere with the door / roof seal. It's due a service next month so if I haven't got to it by then I'll ask them to take a look. I like to sort little things like this myself though.

To follow up on this, fixed the window rattle by adjusting the two screws in the bottom of the door (no need to remove the door card) - a little nip up to pull the glass in tighter was all that was needed. Front screw pulls the front of glass in, rear screw, the rear. When fully up I could feel the driver's side window was a little loose against the seals and had quite a bit of play so this pulled it in and also stopped the 'tinkle' over bumps when the window was fully down.
I also fitted the new soft top and that required a door card off on the passenger side and window stop adjustment to raise the gkass by a few mm to get a water tight seal. Very happy now and enjoying the Exige with the roof off and no rattles
