HELP !! Radiator recommendations 2010 Elise R Series 3
Discussion
Hi All ,
I noticed the engine coolant temp go up to 97C , so turned the engine off and moments later found a stream of coolant coming from the nether regions of the car .
Coolant continued to pour out for the next 3-5 minutes .
Car was transported by the AA without turning on the engine .
The car is a Naturally aspirated 189 BHP Elise R , but a little unusually its a Series 3 car
1) What replacement radiator would you recommend ?
2) Where can I source a replacement radiator?
3) What coolant should I use ?
4) What other work should I look at getting done while the front clam is off ?
( Is it possible to replace the radiator without taking the front clam off ?)
5) Maybe its not the radiator at all - maybe a hose - where would you source radiator hoses ?
6) For my knowledge ( hopefully the Lotus trained mechanic will already know !! ) where can i find out how the front clam is removed and replaced
Thanks for your advice
