Yeah deffo want one! I read this in The Sunday Times Driving a few months ago & have been waiting eagerly for more news.... fingers crossed it might make next series of top gear and whoop most stuff round that track! Imagine what it will be like with a few little toys and engine tweaks done to it

Gooby, have a go in an SC Honda'd Exige (which costs less) and then see if you still want one.

I like the idea, but the price stinks.

Why does it cost that much just to supercharged and a bit more aerodynamic?
The limited number i guess.

Well, Lotus insist that if you were to spec a standard Exige to the same (should they make the supercharger available) it would be more expensive. I think it's accepted that if you spec an Exige now with the twin oil coolers, uprated brakes and clutch cover, harnesses, a/c, e/w, leather interior, fancy paint, ohlins and accusump you'd be looking at around £39-40K before the supercharger. Personally, I wouldn't have minded not having the a/c, e/w and central locking and leather interior.

They look great but does anyone else find it wierd the amount of press/advertising surrounding these 50 cars that have already sold? Surely the S/C kit will be available for the standard Exige? It just wouldn't make sense otherwise.
