Thinking of buying an Elise as a second car for a few track days and hopefully something the misses may drive.(presently own a Cerbera but it,s hard going on the old girl)Any way as it,s a second car I am looking for an early model for not a lot of money.Any general advice as I am also considering a kit car but to be honest I dont know were to start.

Undoubtedly one of the only cars to be so thoroughly enjoyable as to be blasphemous?
What do I mean?
Well, it's not fast, a la Cerby BUT - it handles like Zeus himself formed the chassis with steering by Apollo. And thus, our creed, as Piston Headers, is violated - i.e. 'Speed, does NOT matter!'
Buy one, please because it is arguably the purest automotive driving experience there is.
You will so utterly not regret it, I guarantee! The only car ever to make 40mph unfeasibly enjoyable.
