Elise Cup 220 Exhaust

Hi, anyone know if the standard fitment Cup 220 Exhaust is the same as any other s3 standard Elise, or it it's louder?
I did a trackday at Donington this week with the car (new to me) and it was fine on the noise for the circuit, but the 3 hour drive there was not pleasant due to the very loud drone at motorway speeds. The dealer says the exhaust is factory, but feels much louder than the standard unit I had on my S2 Exige S many years ago. (or maybe I'm just getting old or the run on the motorway worked the baffles loose!)
Wondering if to swap it with a standard back-box, but no point if it's the same.
