While I don't have a Type 23, I think that's a fantastic plate for one!

Very good spot!

What a plate!

Tell her it cost £100.

Then offer the guy £500. There's no way you should pay the 1100 buy it now or even the 750 starting bid!! (people always put plates up optimistically!).

Seriously a great plate though - don't eat for a month and just buy it!!

Remember that with or without the plate, it's a fookin great car. The plate would be a luxury. If you can do it...DO IT...but if you cannot, remember you STILL have a Type 23 Lotus in the garage which, quite frankly, I think looks bloody stunning!!!

Do you know Tony...you're absolutely right!

The plate is a luxury! (a luxury I would like however...lol)

As soon as I saw the car, I knew I wanted her. She takes pride possesion in my garage and I think she's absolutely gorgeous! Everyone has a good luck when I drive past and I think I'm very lucky.

I have to say, your 111s looks pretty special too!

...Now where's my creditcard...lol.

Regards,

Mac

No probs grey...lol

When I was telling people the colour scheme of mine (white) it doesn't really sound that exciting, but seeing it in the flesh is another matter and I believe probably the best colour combo there is...of course, everyone loves their own colours and it's only my opinion...lol

Mac

Thanks Mac (actually, the pics in my profile aren't that great, but this weekend a pro-photgrapher is having a crack so hopefully get some real grand pictures!).

Now, go drive your car with the roof off

Looks a bit pricey to me. After all its a £250 plate including transfers etc. from the dvla.

Just had a quick look and there are plenty of T23___ plates still available.

If you find out what number car you have T23 ONE, or T23 TWO are available £250 each. Quite a few variations have gone, but you may find something.

Go to www.dvla-som.co.uk/home/en/Search/p/prefix and have a look.

Regards, Neil

PS. I have a T25 plate, the cars actually the Type 25 Lotus Development Car

might not be a £250 plate, quite a few plates go for £800 or so direct from the dvla.. but yeah it prob was only £250 so is a bit steep really.

Nope.... it's not that hard to get in over here... so long as you're an oppressed racial minority But seriously, it's not all that hard... couple of the Lizzy guys over on SELOC are making the move soon. I've just written a blurb for the SELOC magazine about Lotus ownership in NZ.... really is one of the most fabulous countries in the world to own a 'liz.... roads that are MADE for it plus the rarity value.... so long as you can avoid plod.
