Hi Folks,

As some of you may or may not know, I've only had my Type 23 since last Friday and already I love it!

Well last night was the first night I've had opportunity to take the hard top off. I took my wife out for a spin. It was a warming evening and the sun was setting.

Thankfully my wife really likes the car and likes very much that I love it...

...Life just doesn't get any better. What a way to spend an evening...lol.

Regards,

Mac

top down is just brilliant!

and unlike my old MX5 the elise handles just the same with the top off. take the hard top off the MX5 and you could feel the chassis move.

Top is always off. It has to be a big storm for me to put the roof on. If it rains, just drive faster!

yup - on a summer's evening, off comes the roof, gorgeous country roads, there is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING* more enjoyable or fulfilling. It's why we spend these long hours at work** !

* ok maybe something involving Lyndsey Lohan, but that's another story

Yeah Right !!!!.....Being 6'4" means that you are so tall that the rain still gets you no matter what, even at truely scary speeds. I know, I've tried.

Doesnt help the tan though! I have the ultimate t- shirt tan cos driving the car. If I go swimming, it makes me look even more like a badly shaved gorilla!
