A few questions: -

What upgrades are you considering?

How long do you intend to keep your car?

When you sell, would you consider buying another Exige? If not, why not, and what else would be on your list?

...just wondering.

Well, i can answer your last question as i don't own an exige yet.

I'm planning to buy an Exige or something in the same category in the future.
I now drive a Honda S2000.
You gotta love the ariel atom but it has no roof.

www.arielmotor.co.uk/

So i come across this on the net.

www.kamalacars.com/

It's certain that this is awesome from 0-60 and it's about in the same pricecategory as an exige.
Some say it handles fantasticly but i didn't find a review on the net wich mentiones how it really handles on the limit.
It is featured here on petrolheads but the testers didn't had the chance to put it to the test.
Hopefully within a year or so i have made up my mind of what i really want.

No plans to sell it for a long time.

If it does become available in the next few years I would get the supercharger for it.

The only thing I can think of that would make me get rid of it would be loosing my job or having kids. As I'm single the latter is unlikely to happen, so , I hope is the former.

As for what else I would get. No idea at the moment.

Upgrades - definitely consider the supercharger upgrade if/when it is released.

No plans to change it in the foreseeable but there's no knowing what might come along to tempt me!

If I did change it, it wouldn't be for another Exige (so many cars to try, so little time!), but more likely something completely different. Currently an Aston Vanquish S is top of my fantasy list but unless I win the lottery I'm not likely to be in the market for one of those in the near future!

I did briefly fancy a TVR Sagaris but having seen a couple on the road now don't really like the proportions as much as I thought I would.

Quite like Porkers, had a 930 turbo for a bit, maybe a 993RS or 996GT3 could tempt me at some point in the future if funds permitted. Only problem with Porsches is there are too many around and you can get a bit of an adverse reaction when people ask you what you drive. Shouldn't matter I know, but the universally positive reaction the Lotus generates is nice - everyone puts you down as a proper enthusiast.

Would love to have the supercharger upgrade just for the noise.

I cant see myself parting with the car, girlfriend loves it too(keeps stealing it!)

If the car was written off then yes i would have to replace her like for like, maybe with the supercharger too.
The only other car i would consider as a close replacement is the 360 CS. Still not as 'wow' as the Lotus.

I love my Exige the mods would be a Sc and the Ohlins.
Only two cars I would consider are the S1 Exige with Honda Sc and the Ariel Atom 300. But they would have to be 2nd cars. The S2 is so good because it is happy on track or road.

>>What upgrades are you considering?
Most of the upgrades are done...
Reverie Induction Kit And SidePods
Install In Dash Sat Nav + Screen
Install Front And Rear Cameras + Recording Device
Braided Hoses, Pagid Pads
Bagpus Air Freshener (worth 10bhp)
...waiting for that bloody SC to turn up.

>>How long do you intend to keep your car?
Almost sold it - the engine annoys the t*ts off me at Brands - then took a long look at it one day, went for a thrap - will sell it when my back gives in.

I think the next track car will need to be a big v8 boat - as I get older I reckon grunt and slide will be the way to go.

Have a look here...
<<ORIGINAL LINK BAD - SEE POST BELOW>>
Bagpus is in there a few times ;-)

The under dash shots look much messier that it really is. It's a very tidy little install.

It's a Kenwood SatNav/DVD - 7inch in-dash screen.
Bullet Cam at the front - wired through the bodywork.
Mini-cam at the back - wired through the tub.
Both cams powered from the ignition via 12v regulators.
Switch box mounted under dash and two buttons near the steering wheel so I can select front or rear cam when driving.

Video and optional microphone feed go into a Sony Mini-DV cam mounted on a stand in the passenger footwell. It's got touchscreen controls so I don't use a LANC. I've got a 6hour battery + 12v power supply just in case.

The picture is great - not taken it on track since the cams were installed but have lots of footage of A and B road miles ;-). I'll post some if someone can tell me where to stick it.

Sorry - I think you need a (free) Photobox account to get in. I'll try and find an open host for them later.

Try this...
