Windscreen spray pump wiring

Hello all together,
I recently bought a Lotus Elise 111S 2005 with the Rover VVC engine. I am very happy with the car and I am giving it some TLC at the moment.
Unfortunately, I have an issue with the windscreen spray pump. Someone cut the wire. And what is even more bizarre I cannot find where the other side of the wire is. I looked at the service manual and I found the wiring diagram but not where these wires go inside the car.
I also realized that some cars have the reservoir in the front and some in the back. Mine is in the back at the far right of the engine bay.
Maybe someone could give me some tips:
Where in the back of the car is the power cable of the pump normally located?
Could it be that in my car it was originally in the front?
