I am hopefully going to look at a few Exiges ( used ) this weekend . What should I be looking for in the way of tell tale signs of abuse/damage. I would appreciate any help you can give me as I would hate to buy a lemon.
Cheers.

They are still pretty new so will be under warranty just have a general look round at all the normal things and get a specialist/dealer to inspect it.

Shouldnt be anything wrong with any of them.

Check its been serviced properly and also see how much tread (if you can call it that ) is left on the rear tyres as a new set will be £700 ish

I would also arrange to get an ecu readout done. Point being that if the owner ragged the arse off it during the running in period the warranty could be invalid.

I'm sure if they had nothing to hide they wouldnt object.

Have fun

I would avoid demo cars from what i have seen they get abuse from mile 1.
Its a good idea to see if you can get your hands on the ECU print out for sure.
Good luck

Roof Rattles is the only thing there has been a problem with with mine.

They now have a fix for that so make sure its done.

The comment about ex demos is a load of rubbish, you will have no problem with the Toyota engine cars. They are bullet proof engine wise.

I have oftern had exdemos as my work car / every day car. Never had a problem with them. Saved money and any little issues tend to be sorted out.

I have a S2 Exige on a 04 plate for sale in the for sale section on Piston Heads. Would cost £ 36.200 to spec new.

Almost a £ 9,000 saving and it run in for you..
