Here's the link on pistonheads.tv

and here's the direct link to the video (15mb)

When I fitted my new Larini backbox I setup our new video camera on it's time delay setting thing and this is the result. Of course, there's no sound (so I put a fitting backing track to it!)...but it seems it didn't last the whole time (though I swear it did on my comptuer!).

Anyway, it's just a bit of fun really....I do have some comparison videos of old exhaust versus new which I'm sure you'll find more useful, but thought I'd show you all this!

Oh...and the reason it took so long to get the old exhaust off was because out of the 3 bolts: 1 sheared, 1 rounded off, and the 3rd was a dream!

Enjoy...
Tony

Nifty. You need to end that with the car starting up tho' - what does it sound like?

ta

I'll post the comparison videos tonight - I've made a few (i.e. one of both starting up, one of both from inside, one of both from outside) and then you can hear the beast that is...!

Next on my list is a hurricane

Should have gone to Kwik Fit

Great video Tony. Made me chuckle because of the Benny Hill theme tune and the speed it ran at. The only thing missing was the sound of the car roaring off into the distance.

Nice one. Quite apart from the images of blokes squirming about on the ground

I got my brother-in-law to fit mine, and I swear it seemed to take about that amount of time. We spent longer waiting for the old exhaust to cool down enough to work on than it did to do the job. He's a professional though, and has worked as a rallycar mechanic, and as TVR's chief racing engineer, so he should have a clue
