111R - problems changing from 2nd to 3rd?

Hi,
I seem to struggle changing from 2nd to 3rd when I'm over 6500 revs, it just refuses to go into 3rd. It's fine below 6500. Does anyone have any tips or had the same problem?

I would take it back to wear you bought it from and get them to have alook at it thats what warranty is for

My car has 2000 mls and sometimes I do notice a more difficult change from 2nd to 3rd but not to your point. I try to be more soft when moving to 3rd. As comparison, moves to 4th and certainly 5th and 6th are a lot easier.
Sometimes I do experience trouble to go back to first.
It is not a real trouble but I will ask my dealer next time. Keep in touch

It may be that the gear linkage cables have "streched". Mine were adjusted at service and the gearchange is like a rifle bolt!

Yep mine struggles from the same problem will mention that on the 9000 Mile service, still got 3500 to go thou

Does it "refuse" to go in without force or without de-clutching, or does it "graunch" (for want of a better word) when changing rapidly.

The reason I ask is that 2nd-3rd synchro is something to test for on a 2nd-hand car test-drive, and on high-revving engines it shows up in "quick" changes at high revs.

Shouldn't be an issue with you, as I'm guessing the car is nearly new.
