Don Palmer's driving course
Discussion
After what seems like a lifetime of saving, I finally slid (ok, sort of fell in, really) into my new (to me) 98 Silver Elise last weekend, grinning like an idiot, two years after my first ever experience in one from which moment I decided I quite simply had to have one.
No sooner have I got myself this dream car of mine, I've been invited to Don Palmer's 'Wetter the Better' driving day (that's how it used to be advertised in Evo. These days It's called 'Creative Car Control' I think) Here's the link for you: www.drivingdevelopment.co.uk/
I'd love the chance to explore the limitations of the car in a safe environment and wondered if any of you guys have been on this course, enjoying the pleasure of learning how to drive sideways round wet corners at high speed? I'm bursting to know what it's like!

Never been on his course myself, but heard countless praise on the man. His course is one of the most expensive one around and it seems to be well justified.
You surely will have a cracking day.
Cheers

PS: Make sure you have enough thread on your rubber to go drive home at the end of the day

I'll second Mark's comment's, I was one of the 3, I have done a few track days over the last two years, but Andy's structured approach to understanding how and why the car does what it does were invaluable, has definetely helped the drving and like Mark will be going back for more, if only to get my lap time down to a sub 57 sec!! The cousre we attended was at North Weald Airfield just off junc 7 of the M11, so plenty of room with nothing to hit.
