250 cup Final Edition arrived!
Discussion
Well after what seems like an age after placing a deposit in February prior to its official launch yesterday I finally picked up my Final Edition Cup 250!
This one has carbon pack/AC/carpets/cruise/no radio/no soundproofing so a nice odd spec the best thing is I managed to get the factory to do me a one off Viper Green paint job. Interior we have colour pack/green stitching and alcantara wheel/sills.
Drove back down from Hamilton to Wakefield yesterday so got the first 250 miles on it. It feels odd to have a Lotus with no rattles! Certainly the best screwed together one yet. Need to have a play around with the dash (Aim tft dash) and really just try to pile the running in miles on. Idea for lotus.... charge £1000 to have the engine pre run in it would be a very popular option as 1000 miles could literally take me 2 to 3 years to do it seems a bit out of date these days to have to do but hey ho 4500 max revs for a good while yet!
Feels amazing on the B roads the suspension is typically Lotus just really well judged. Only mod planned for next year will be a quaife LSD which I feel being a cup they should really have had from new but overall what a car. The last true Lotus. As much as we are all excited for the future and the Emira looks amazing I felt there was a huge importance and value (not necessarily monetary value) in this last car. It marks the true end of an era with no manufacturers really now making a proper sub 1000kg manual sportscar. With production numbers in the low 30s its a truly special car.

I think you can start to push harder after around 600 miles, but are supposed to avoid full performance until the runnning in service
