My S3 is having to live outside as there is no room in the garage. I am intending to use it as my "everyday" car so being outside will be the norm. Early days yet but I will be interested how she copes when the winter comes.

My 2005 S2 Elise has lived outside for 12 years. It developed microblisters on the driver’s door about four or five years ago, which I had fixed. It now has them on the passenger door. I’m going to get it all sorted, because it needs old ppf removing and making good and a little bunny damage to the chin sorting as well.

I ran an s3 as a daily for 3 years a couple of years ago...it lived outside the whole time and was fine other then the odd water droplets on the top of the entrance sill when it rained...just haver a cloth to wipe it dry. Other than that it was fine...just use it regularly!

Have had 3 Elise's since 2003 as daily drivers. All outside, slight problem with paint blisters on the 2004 111s seems common problem of that era. Clearing the windscreen on both sides then driving off to have it mist up was a nuisance. But sad gits we are, I just bought another S1 this time not a daily drive.

Mine live outside.

The only problem has been water getting into the door lock barrels and them freezing. I’ll be greasing the lock barrels up next winter.
