Elise S1 and E10 fuel
Discussion
Does anyone know what the 'critical' components are in the Rover engine that make the S1 not E10 compatible?
Been researching for some time, but not found anything that actually lists the issues.
I know plastic/rubber is a potential issue, and I've already replaced the plastic throttle body...
What else is there that is in danger with E10 fuel?

Lotus specify the Rover engine is NOT compliant.
See: https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/fuel-compatibility...
It doesn't mean it is the 'engine', but may be periphery items - fuel lines, pump, etc.
I am looking for a list of such items.

Lotus say “we haven’t tested it”. That’s different from “will certainly cause issues”. See: https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/fuel-compatibility...

I’m sticking to super.
