Does anyone know what the 'critical' components are in the Rover engine that make the S1 not E10 compatible?
Been researching for some time, but not found anything that actually lists the issues.

I know plastic/rubber is a potential issue, and I've already replaced the plastic throttle body...
What else is there that is in danger with E10 fuel?

For the last 22 years, I've only filled mine with super unleaded, and that stays max E5 for now.

According to GOV website all Land Rovers are clear to use E10 from 1996 on. That should cover the K series in Lotus

Lotus specify the Rover engine is NOT compliant.
See: https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/fuel-compatibility...

It doesn't mean it is the 'engine', but may be periphery items - fuel lines, pump, etc.
I am looking for a list of such items.

Lotus say “we haven’t tested it”. That’s different from “will certainly cause issues”.
I’m sticking to super.

As I have asked, I am after a list of the components that are likely not E10 compatible.
